To Stop Rumors From Being Spread About You

Items needed:

• A picture of the person or a piece of paper with their name and birthday (if you know it) wrote on it

1. Draw a protective circle in your usual manner, what ever works best for you.
2. Stand inside the circle, picture the person/people who are causing you grief, and chant:
   "Shut their mouths and push them away,
   no one will care what they have to say,
   bind their lips and keep them at bay,
   no one believes what they have to say."
   
   
3. Make a pushing motion with your hands as you chant, as if to push their words away, rejecting them and rendering them ineffective. You can also imagine their mouths being tied up as you chant,
   "making it so that they are unable to effectively tell the lies they want to."
   


4. You can chant as many times as you like, for as long as you like, until you feel that enough energy has been raised to make the spell take effect.
5. When you are ready, you can end the spell saying
   "May it be so"
   or what ever phrase you like to end a spell on, to signify that you are done.
6. Close the protective circle.

Notes:

• If you cast your spells depending on moon phases, I recommend casting this spell during the Waning Moon.
• During the chant, you can substitute "they" for he or she, what ever applies to your situation.
• Do not cast this with the intention of harming anyone- as I said, this is only intended to stop gossip, not to punish the gossiper.
• This spell won't work on someone who is innocent, only on someone who is trying to use their words to do harm.

To Halt Gossip

This spell is designed to help stop the spread of gossip without harming anyone or interfering with free will, and so while you cast it be sure that you are not focusing on any individuals or thinking of specific ways that the gossip might stop unless those ways do not harm or manipulate anyone. Do not cast this spell if you cannot manage to keep your mind away from vindictive thoughts. You must be calm and objective.

Needed:

• A candle (white for protection and general use, black for banishing and protection, or red or green to represent the gossip itself). Smaller is better, because it will burn down more quickly.
• Something with which to carve symbols and words into the candle

1. Cast a circle. Clear your mind of any negative or distracting emotions or thoughts. Carve a few symbols or words into the candle that represent your intentions. Be sure to carve at least the words “harm none” or the pentacle (as a representation of the Wiccan rede) to make sure that the spell does not harm or interfere with anyone’s free will. The goal is to affect the power of the gossip itself, and not to interfere with the will or well-being of the people spreading it.
2. Gaze at the flame and focus on what you want to have happen: the gossip stopping. Imagine it fizzling out quickly, and not continuing to spread. Think of the gossip, not any people. When you’re ready, speak the following words:

   "I’ve lately been made victim of some fabricated lies
   This slander has brought scorn and hate, but with this spell it dies
   Gossip spreads like fire, and it scorches like a flame
   But all candles burn out, so may the gossip do the same."
   
4. Imagine the gossip doing the same thing as a candle: burning down and, eventually, burning itself out. This process happens naturally with all gossip, and so will it to happen quickly. Push your intentions into the candle and say:

   "I will it so with harm to none; so may it be, my will be done."
   
6. Let the candle burn out. It is a good sign if it naturally goes out before it’s completely burned down.
7. When it’s stopped burning, bury whatever is left of the candle.

Stop Someone From Gossiping About You

Items Needed:

• Picture of Person's head
• Poppet (can be cloth or paper)
• Needle
• Black Thread
• Scissors
• Black Candle to repel negativity.
• Brown Candle for friendship.

1. Get a picture of the person you wish to stop spreading rumors about you, and cut out the head and attach it to the doll's face. I'm a very visual person, so this combination would help me more than simply using a doll or just a picture. (If you can't find a picture, then I personally suggest writing their name and birthday if you know it onto the poppet or if making a cloth poppet, write that information onto a piece of paper and stuff it inside the poppet.)
2. Grab some thread and a needle - I would use black thread, to symbolize the banishing of ill-speak, as you will use the thread to sew the mouth on the picture shut.
3. Light your black candle as you visualize the negativity leaving the person spreading the gossip.
4. Light your brown candle as you visualize you and this person sharing mutual respect.
5. As you begin to sew the mouth shut, chant:

"You whose mouth always fails to cease
Saying such things to disrupt my peace
I bid you from this hate you so desperately cling
from the anger and resentment you continuously bring
Your lies and hate end right here
to start anew with love so pure
Now bid farewell to such ill-will shown
for it shall be muffled by the thread I've sewn
and with my intentions only innocent and sweet
As i will, so mote it be."

To Stop An Enemy From Spreading Gossip About You

This spell is from Lady Of The Earth Spells

Items needed:

• Pen
• Slipper Elm Bark (paper will do in a pinch)
• Black Cloth

1. Write the name and full birthdate of your gossiping enemy on a piece of slippery elm bark.
2. Wrap it in a piece of black cloth and say:
3. "(Name of enemy)
   Be now silent
   Let your bitter tongue be broken.
   (Name of enemy)
   Be now silent
   Let no evil words be spoken.
   So mote it be!"
   
4. Bury the cloth covered bark in a forest or graveyard at night by the light of a pale, waning moon as you visualize your enemy unable to speak whenever he or she attempts to spread malicious gossip about you.

Freezer Binding

This spell is meant to bind people or things from your life until you want them back.

Items needed:

• Zip Lock Baggie (preferably a freezer baggie)
• Water
• Pen
• Paper

1. Write the name of the person or what ever it is you wish to bind down on a piece of paper.
2. Fill the Zip Lock baggie with water.
3. Drop the piece of paper into the baggie.
4. Place somewhere deep in the back of your freezer, and walk away, forget about it.

The spell can be reversed simply by taking the bag out of the freezer, letting the water thaw, then disposing of all contents.

Stop Slander and Gossip

Banishes rumors.

You will need the following items for this spell:

• Cauldron or Large Bowl
• Pen or Pencil
• Dark marker
• Paper

1. At night time light a small fire in a cauldron or what ever you have available to contain the fire.
2. Write on a piece of paper that is 3 inches x 3 inches, the word Rumors and the rumors that are being spread about you.Do not write the names of those who are slandering you, unless you want to harm them.
3. Be thinking of these lies going away, never to return as you draw an X with a dark marker across the paper.
4. Toss the paper into the fire and repeat the following words 3 times:

"Rumors, slander standing stout,
with this X I cross you out,
I toss their words into the fire,
all these lies no longer hire.
All bad things done and said,
leave my life be gone be dead!
All the evil that they say,
make it all go away!
Rumors carry me no more,
be gone be dead,
be no more!
So Mote It Be!"

Sit and concentrate on all the bad gossip going away for a few minutes, then extinguish the fire.

Rumor Eraser Chant

Stops and lets people forget rumors.

You will need the following items for this spell:

• candles (optional)
• stones (optional)
• athame/pointer finger on dominate hand

Cast a Circle if you wish. Hold your athame in your dominant hand.

Chant:

"Rumor, rumor like a tumor
Wither away, die today."

1. Visualize the rumor fading from everyone's memory.
2. Point the the athame towards the sky and say:
   "so mote it be."
   

It works when cast right.

Banish Slander

To stop slander and gossip about you.

You will need the following items for this spell:

• Work on the Waning Moon
• Paper & Pen

Write the rumors on a piece of paper, draw an X across it and burn it.

Chant while burning:

"Rumors, slander standing stout
With this X I cross you out
I toss their words into the fire
All these lies no longer hire
All bad things done and said
Leave my life, be gone, be dead
All the evil that they say
At this time will go away
Rumors carry me no more
Be gone, be dead, be no more."

Bind The Evil

Needed:

• Your Voice
• Belief

Allows you to bind mean people or things.

Find a target, then point finger and recite:

"You are evil, you are mean.
Say no more, Ill make you clean."

Bind Someone In Friendship

You will need the following items for this spell:

• A personal item from you and the person to be bound to you(their name wrote on a piece of paper & your name wrote on a piece of paper will do.)
• A picture of you and your target together (skip this one & use the pieces of paper if you don't have pictures.)
• A green box
• A red thread
• and one yellow candle

This spell is suppose to keep someone loyal to you in friendship.

1. (OPTIONAL) Cast the circle and sweep the floor with a besom.
2. Then visualize for a few minutes what you want and how it will be when you finish the spell.
3. Before lighting the candle inscribe it with my astrological symbol of Jupiter(for prosperity) and Saturn(for binding). Then light it.
4. Chant:
   "Friendship eternal,
   true and steadfast
   I shall have thee now at last."
   
5. Take the red thread and the two personal items and as you bind them together chant:
   "You and I
   bound together in friendship
   and trust now and forever!"
   
   Then tie the thread and knot it securely visualizing the magick being locked in.
6. Now take the picture hold it in your dominate hand and send loving energies into it then chant:
   "More than brothers/sisters we are now to each other
   we endow our knowledge our secrets
   and all and both of us together
   shall stand tall free from mistrust deception and lies
   by this spell i strengthen our ties
   together we stand now and forever here
   to support one or the other!"
   
   
7. Now recite the Latin incantation for manifestation:
   "Per omnes vires terrae et maris,
   Per omnes potentias lunae et solis,
   Velut volo ut liceat esse,
   Carmen canta et fiat, Beata sint!"
   
8. Now put everything in the green box and keep it hidden (put a protection spell on it if you want) but make sure to put it out in the sun for a few minutes every Thursday.
